Kabkab dates are one of the most popular and best-selling date varieties in Iran. After Mazafati, they account for a significant share of domestic production and consumption and also hold an important position in export markets.

Kabkab dates are cultivated in southern Iran and develop through different stages of growth, including Hababouk, Khalal, Rutab, and fully ripe dates. They have a naturally warm and moist nature and are rich in natural sugars, fiber, iron, and essential minerals, making them beneficial for boosting energy, supporting digestion, helping prevent iron deficiency, and strengthening the body.

Kabkab dates are well established as an export product. International markets include Gulf countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Qatar, as well as European countries, Central Asia, Russia and CIS countries, and North America.
